It’s nice and short. Quite gripping till the end. The story is about an oppressed woman’s life narrated by her neighbor. Despite the story being about a woman’s agony, it does not flow as a sob story theme all way long. So it will not leave you depressed by the end.

The narrator’s intro is short but I feel, her presence can be made more significant in the plot as she holds a strong position in Ananya’s life as a ‘friend in need’.
