A Bee On Christmas by Elisa Anderson

1–2 minutes

This book is a cute story about a lazy bee who learns the value of hard work and friendship from a kind ant.

The illustrations are colourful and appealing, and the moral lesson is clear. However, I felt that the story was too short and simple, as well as seems to be inspired by one of the Aesop fables, The grasshopper and the ants.

I think this book would be better suited for younger children who are just starting to read on their own or with some help. It’s not a bad book, but it could use some improvement.
